blueprint
belief (faith)
belief is trusting in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and accepting His gospel. In the Church of Christ, faith is essential but must lead to obedient action.
Hebrews 11:6 — “Without faith it is impossible to please Him.”
confession
confession is openly acknowledging faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Son of God before others.
Matthew 10:32 — “Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father.”
repentance
repentance is a sincere change of heart that results in turning away from sin and toward obedience to God.
Acts 17:30 — “God now commands all men everywhere to repent.”
baptism
baptism is immersion in water for the forgiveness of sins and entrance into Christ, completing obedience to the gospel.
Acts 2:38 — “Repent and be baptized… for the remission of sins.”
